The New St. Paul's Website
Welcome to the new stpaulsfleetwood.com. It’s been a long time coming, but after many discussions, false starts, experiments, triumphs, failures, and a complete rebuild from scratch beginning December 17th, it’s finally here. Initially, we’re going to start small with just a calendar and some news articles about happenings at the church. In the coming weeks and months, however, we’ll be bringing new features to the site to modernize our web presence. Before long, we may even be on Facebook!
You can definitely expect to see the following features roll out in the near future:
Sermons
We’ll be posting recordings of Pastor Bob’s sermons (and who knows, maybe even the new video presentations that go along with them) as well as occasional video of the choirs. Expect to see recordings from Christmas Eve soon.
Topic Hubs
We’ll be showcasing some of the bigger projects and events with which St. Paul’s has been and will be involved such as the Bulongwa mission and Overtime.
Like Buttons
We may not have a Facebook page yet, but it just wouldn’t be the web we’ve all come to know and love without a Like button on everything.
The Directory
Right now, the church directory is, well, a bit klunky. The directory will soon be integrated directly into the website rather than hosted on a separate system.
These are just a few of the features that we’ve got planned and we look forward to hearing about ideas that you, the users of the site, have. While there is a plan for the website, the best sites evolve around their users’ needs. If you have an idea or need for the website, drop us a line.
