On June 6, St. Paul’s donated knotted quilts to Camp Noah.  What is Camp Noah?  Camp Noah is a fun-filled, week long day camp for children throughout the US that facilitates the emotional recovery for children from the devastating impact of a disaster such as: tornadoes, floods and other traumatic life events.

There are trained national volunteer teams.  Camp Noah celebrates each child as a special gift from God and helps them identify their unique gifts and talents.  Each child, grades 1-6, receives a quilt and takes it  home.  This year there will be a Camp Noah in the Poconos.  Camp Noah is not a faith-based camp.

Thank you to everyone who donated and helped to make a variety of items for people in need in our area.  On Monday, July 2, 8 knotted quilts, men's tee shirts, socks, gloves, towels, dish cloths, toiletries, 3 boxes of jigsaw puzzles, Sharpie markers, cards, word books and wrapping paper were delivered to Opportunity House.

Our Tanzania Ministry Team took 3 knotted quilts with them on their mission trip.  Keep them in your prayers.
