2009 Youth Gathering

group2 Twelve of St. Paul’s youth will be traveling to the ELCA youth gathering hosted in New Orleans in July 2009. As the primary youth chaperon, Katie Heffner and I are excited to be leading this large group of girls to a nation wide event about God. While we are there youth and adults will be immersed in worship, music, Bible study, service, learning, play, prayer, the witness of faithful leaders from around the world, reflection, caring for others, and new friendships. The Gathering is a time of change and growth because we gather in the presence of God's Spirit with others who journey with Jesus.

We thank you for your continued support as you help us to fundraise enough money to participate in this awesome event that takes place once every three years. We hope that this trip will continue to be popular among our youth. I would hope most would agree that the youth that return from this event have changed spiritually and have become excited about the word of God. group1_web
