Faith Community Nurse Team

The FCNT is composed of volunteer nurses from St. Paul's Lutheran congregation who emphasize preventive health and wellness while recognizing the correlation between faith and health. Through monthly programs they educate about health related issues and serve as a resource for health agencies.

With warmer weather and more social contacts, remember the best way to prevent colds, flu and other infectious diseases that thrive in close social contact.  It continues to be most important to WASH YOUR HANDS!  Wash for at least 20 seconds; sing Happy Birthday twice if that helps you to remember. Dry your hands, as wet hands are more likely to transfer bacteria. Alcohol-based sanitizers are a convenient option, but hand washing is more effective. When choosing hand sanitizer, choose one that is at least 60% alcohol.
